In 2010, Fernando was promoted to First Artist at the Royal Ballet. He continues to dance the Jester in Cinderella, and this season can also be seen in John Cranko’s Onegin, Frederick Ashton’s Sylvia, Marius Petipa’s Giselle, Anthony Dowell’s Swan Lake, Ashton’s La Valse, MacMillan’s Winter Dreams, and Balanchine’s Theme & Variations; plus the world premiere of Christopher Wheeldon’s new ballet Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland.
